Crazy. After years of submitting requests for warranty issues, we are finally heard. Thank you, Utahscams for making this happen.

Our entire neighborhood is getting a much-needed facelift. Richmond American is fixing our driveways and all other over-due repairs.

I have to wonder, how did these homes pass inspection. Where city officials for Eagle Mountain paid off by home builders?

First, let me be clear that I’m not calling you to task about not watching the construction. Just that our neighbor has had serious issues because their home wasn’t watched at all. Really shoddy work.

I’m going to blog about a Richmond issue from one of my neighbors soon.

Last of all, just curious why you don’t sign your name. If you name others by first and last name I think it’s only fair to put yours.

Nice! I am so glad to see things moving forward. They are really coming through for us, as well.

From what I am experiencing, Poli is a man of his word.

Hurrah for someone from Richmond stepping up and changing the situation. He may be the best thing that has ever happened to Richmond American Homes.

I’ll hit you up on Twitter for that interview…. I too watched our construction like a freaking hawk… My dad is in the construction industry and pushed me to watch them close and to make sure that they weren’t screwing up. He also did walk thrus with me about every week.

A lot of this stuff isn’t mine, but very close friends and relatives. We have had some problems, especially with the energy star stuff, which really, couldn’t be monitored that well during the process.

We are all just sick and tired of dealing with this stuff, especially when Richmond just makes excuses about why it is ok.

I’m curious who is writing this blog (looks great – you must be pretty mad to put in all this effort – I should interview you about how 1 citizen can shake things up with some social media power).

We had a microwave malfunction – it’s not a cheap one – & it was A LOT to fix. Then the repair guy told us it wasn’t installed properly. So we told Richmond that it was their fault. They insisted that they don’t install microwaves. Short story: they do and we saved several hundred $.

Also a lot of the storm drains weren’t installed well making a lot of problems with water in the neighborhood. They did come and repair the sidewalks.

All in all we personally haven’t had that many problems though. I’ve never had a new home but I understand that there are usually lots of things to fix. My husband watched the construction closely to be sure things were done right. If you don’t do that you take your chances it seems like.
